Exodus 17:8–13; 40:17–38
Aaron and Hur steady Moses’ hands above the wilderness battlefield. As Joshua leads Israel against Amalek, Moses stands above the battle with the staff of God in his hand. When his hands grow heavy, Aaron and Hur place a stone beneath him and support his hands, one on either side. His hands remain steady until sunset, and Joshua overcomes Amalek. A moment of deliverance also becomes a portrait of faithful support. DRAFT — pending administrator approval. Rarity: Rare.
